Maite Hernández is a Partner in the Real Estate department at Andersen in the Barcelona and Madrid offices. She has more than 30 years of professional experience.

Maite has extensive experience in real estate and construction law. Her experience includes: corporate direct and indirect real estate operations and their financing such as acquisitions and sales, due diligence, planning questions, sale and lease, leases, ownership structures, building and appropriation rights, concessions and rights of use, building contracts of all types, international and domestic bidding procedures, financial structures and real estate loan security, assistance to real estate funds, national and international asset portfolio tendering operations, and arbitration in construction matters.

Maite has been recognized in the Chambers & Partners international directory as a leading lawyer in the field of real estate for six years and in the Best Lawyers legal directory, as a leading real estate lawyer in Spain since 2020. She has also been recognized by the American firm JAMS as a mediator.

She is a speaker at a number of national and international forums. She was a speaker for the Master’s Program in Real Estate and Planning Law at Ramón Llull University in Barcelona until 2007.

She is co-author of the book "Derecho Mercantil Inmobiliario" (2009) published by Bosch.
