Sara Rovira is a Senior Associate at Andersen Tax & Legal España. She has over 20 years’ experience in the legal field, and began her career at Arthur Andersen. She currently manages the Commercial Law department of the Barcelona office.

Sara specialises in providing commercial and corporate advice. She handles all matters related to a company’s recurring corporate activity and draws up corporate agreements; as well as special transactions such as a capital increase or decrease, mergers, spin-offs, company dissolutions, etc. She advises undertakings on the entry of new shareholders, investment agreements, joint ventures, during due diligence processes, business sale and purchases.

Likewise, she has provided legal advice for family-owned companies and Foundations and Associations, providing recurring and special legal advice.

Sara has coordinated teams specialising in different areas, for the issue of opinions and special reports on disputed matters, submitting alternatives for planning or global action, as well as negotiating and leading a deal’s final closure.

In civil and commercial contracts, Sara has drafted distribution, supply, agency, production and franchise agreements, NDAs, intellectual and industrial property licences, for new technologies, production and publishing, amongst others.

In turn, she has provided company advice in real estate matters in property sale and purchase, declarations of new works, horizontal division, property lease and business activity… drafting and negotiating the necessary documentation.
