Alrikaz becomes a collaborating firm of Andersen Global

Andersen Global furthers its expansion into the Middle East with news that the leading independent tax consulting firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has become a collaborating firm of Andersen Global.

Alrikaz Tax Consultants has signed a Collaboration Agreement with Andersen Global, expanding Andersen Global’s presence in the country with the largest economy in the region, and paving the way for continued growth.

Alrikaz has five offices and nearly 100 employees across major economic hubs of KSA, including Jeddah, Riyadh and Al Khobar. Andersen Global’s expansion in the Middle East has been significant this year and includes added presence in UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, and Lebanon.

“Saudi Arabia is critical to any firm’s strategy for growth in the Middle East, so it’s a considerable collaboration on our part that we are working with the best of the best in Saudi Arabia,” said Andersen Global Chairman and Andersen Tax LLC CEO Mark Vorsatz. “We’re starting at the top and can only go higher from here.”

Alrikaz is led by Managing Director and CEO Abdulmohsen S.F. Alkahtani, and Ahmed Ismail and Abdelrahim Elbakheit as Senior Directors, who have a long history of providing tax advisory services along with the most recognized firms in the industry. The group is considered the leading independent tax service provider in KSA with a substantial customer base of high-profile international and Saudi companies.

“I started my career with Arthur Andersen,” said Alkahtani. “When you start out with the foundation of being the absolute best in tax consulting and the very best in client service, it’s something you work to replicate the rest of your career. Needless to say, Arthur Andersen’s values and the way they did business is exactly what we aim to provide for our clients.”

“Expertise and professionalism are important, but trust and honesty are paramount to us,” said Ismail. “That is what our clients know they can depend on, so the move with Andersen Global integrates into our current values very well.”

“Andersen Global is just so different from a traditional professional services organization, so the opportunity to jump on board is flattering and exciting,” said Elbakheit. “We will work to continue to exceed expectations for our Saudi and foreign clients. The collaboration with Andersen Global only enhances our reach, depth and width, and our ability to do so.”

Andersen Global is an international association of legally separate, independent member firms comprised of tax and legal professionals around the world. Established in 2013 by U.S. member firm Andersen Tax LLC, Andersen Global now has more than 3,500 professionals worldwide and a presence in over 121 locations through its member firms and collaborating firms.
