Almost 300 people accompany Andersen Tax & Legal at its event held in Madrid following the incorporation of Olleros Abogados

Madrid, 12 May.- The Managing Partner of Andersen Tax & Legal in Spain, Jaime Olleros, highlighted that it aims to make a strong contribution towards the firm’s international growth.

Jaime Olleros was speaking during the Andersen Tax & Legal event held yesterday in Madrid following the incorporation of Olleros Abogados. The event was attended by close to 300 people and enjoyed the participation of Javier Mata, partner of the firm, Toni Prat, managing partner of the firm, and the chairman of IAG, Antonio Vázquez.

During his speech, Jaime Olleros, who began his career at Arthur Andersen, explained that the firm he founded and of which he has been managing partner, Olleros Abogados, joins Andersen with 30 years of history, international agreements, such as that with Nobre Guedes Mota Soares & Associados in Portugal, the association with Elzaburu and the Cuban Desk, and has been engaged in a process of expansion over the last four years, in which it has grown from 42 to 160 professionals. Accordingly, he said, the more than 200 people in the Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia offices of Andersen Tax & Legal form part of the over 2000 professionals that currently make up Andersen in 62 offices throughout the world.

As he explained, “the new Andersen, in its growth plan, is incorporating firms with a long history in each market in order to add know-how and experience to the international firm as a whole with the same criteria of excellence, quality, and honesty, which allows each country to offer a service with local essence and international perspective".

For the managing partner of Andersen Tax & Legal in Spain, this is a "fundamental step in the internationalization of the firm for the benefit of our clients, in order to contribute to the development of the international organisation and to offer a high quality service in cross-border transactions through one single firm."

For his part, Toni Prat stressed that the Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia offices of Andersen Tax & Legal represent the same values ​​and that Andersen opens up a new path that all the professionals will go down together in order for it to be successful.

The chairman of IAG, Antonio Vázquez, stressed that in Andersen, where he began his career, he learned the key values ​​of the firm, such as the obsession for excellence and work well done. In his speech, he recalled the different projects he carried out with Jaime Olleros during his time at Tabacalera, and noted that working with the managing partner of Andersen Tax & Legal is "a privilege". Antonio Vázquez congratulated Olleros for 30 years of experience in his previous firm and the decision to join an international project.
