Environmental challenges create opportunities for business and cities

Rafael Ripoll participates in the conference "The impact of the environment on business and the city" organized by Cesur in Seville

On the 4th October in Seville, the Southern Spain Business Association, CESUR and the Cajasol Studies Institute held a conference entitled "The impact of the environment on business and the city". The European Commission's Director General for the Environment, Daniel Calleja, presented some of the 54 measures included in the Circular Economy Plan, emphasising that environmental challenges are also opportunities for businesses and cities.

Rafael Ripoll, of counsel at Andersen Tax & Legal, participated in the round table where, together with Gonzalo Sáenz de Miera, Director of Climate Change at Iberdrola; Gustavo Calero Díaz, Director of Sustainable Development and Innovation at Hidralia; and Raquel Vallejo Labrador, Director of the Central-South Zone of Nedgia, Naturgy Group, the new models were discussed and stated that in the future, the most sustainable companies will be the most profitable.
