Joaquín Ureña is a partner at Andersen in the Valencia office and head of the firm's Accounts Law Department. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Andersen in Spain.

He previously worked at Olleros Abogados and Textiles y Confecciones Europeas, SA (TYCESA), the textile multinational of the Lois brand.

Joaquín Ureña specializes in the analysis of investment projects and valuations of businesses or assets. He also advises clients on the sale of businesses and corporate restructuring processes, financial planning, strategic planning and implementation of cost management systems.

He is an expert in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). He also has extensive expertise in the international accounting harmonization process.

In the academia field, he is a lecturer of the degree in Management and Business Administration, Universidad Europea de Valencia.
