José Vicente Morote is currently a member of the Global Board and the Regional Board of Andersen. Within his international responsibilities, he is responsible for the European legal coordination of the firm. He is Managing Partner of the firm in Spain and Portugal and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Andersen Iberia, as well as co-head of the Public and Regulatory Law area of the firm in the offices of Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Lisbon, Valencia and Seville.

Jose Vicente Mroote has PHD of Law from the University of Bologna, with Italian Ministry of Culture Degree Award. He was appointed Dean of the Law University Catolica de Valencia, San Vicente Mártir, from 2007 to 2014. He is  a Public Servant specialising in administrative issues at Local Authority (on special leave).

Jose Vicente Morote has advised a number of Public Agencies on Administrative Law issues.

He has participated as teacher in several courses and conferences in several universities and institutions. He has published a number of books on Administrative Law issues, namely 'Las Circulares normativas de la Administración Pública, Editorial Tirant Lo Blanch; 'Comentarios a la Ley Reguladora de las Bases de Régimen Local’, Civitas Thomson. Madrid; 'Práctica de Administración Local: Formularios y Documentos', published in 2006.
