Andersen Tax & Legal has incorporated Ignacio Blanco, who joins as Director in the Mercantile department to strengthen the energy area.

Blanco holds a degree in Law from the University of Burgos and a master’s degree in Legal Consultancy for Companies from the Instituto de Empresa and specialises in Corporate and Commercial Law, focusing his activity on M&A operations in the energy sector and self-consumption.

Specifically, he has participated in the acquisition and sale of projects related to renewable energy of different technologies such as wind, photovoltaic, solar thermal or biomass, advising both promoters, investment funds and financial institutions in Spain, Mexico, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Peru, Italy, Poland and Romania, among others.

Blanco also has extensive experience in the negotiation of turnkey construction (EPC) and operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts, which he has acquired during his professional career in different offices such as ARPA Abogados, Cuatrecasas or Araoz & Rueda.
